Allium hollandicum 'Purple Sensation' (syn. A.aflatunense)

This improved form of the species stands 60-70cm tall, producing perfect spheres of iridescent purple 10-12cm across. Flowering mid-November, with seed-pods developing later to form an attractive secondary display. Common name: Persian Onion.
