The Bestbrook project began in the early 1990's when Kiwi lifestyle-block owners were still cynically referred to as 'hobby farmers'. But the rise in demand for locally-grown quality produce, and the realisation that big isn't always better, has meant that attitudes have since changed considerably. Over this time our range of crops has gradually expanded and our plantings have matured, leading to a steady increase in produce for sale. Most is sold locally in the Nelson region, but an increasing number of internet enquiries have meant that we now look to a wider market.
