Where do you go after Cloudy Bay? No, it's not an old sea shanty, but what Kevin Judd must have asked himself after 25 years making New Zealand's most famous wine. - Telegraph (UK)

Kevin had a chat with his old mates and they agreed to let him use the Dog Point winery to make his wines. As Kevin says, now we sort of joke that this is the Cloudy Bay Retirement home. In reality it's more like a reunited rock band - so much seasoned talent hanging around ready to jam together! - TLN (Singapore)

Kevin says he's not above being "something of a scavenger" either. His first foray into Gewurztraminer under his new label resulted from noticing a block where three tonnes of botrytis-infected fruit had been left behind for the birds. He took a closer look, had a taste and decided he'd like it. That fruit became the sumptuous Greywacke Late Harvest Gewurztraminer 2009 - Marlborough Express

We piled into Kevin's truck, and headed for the Yarrum vineyard which, with its gently sloping hills, is home to some of Kevin's Pinot Noir vines. 'Yarrum, that sounds rather Australian', said Peter. 'Actually, it's Murray spelt backwards', came the dry response from the driver's seat. - Marlborough Express
